Common Questions, Clear Answers

Everything you need to know about starting your Ayurvedic journey with Navajeevana.

Panchakarma means "five actions" and is a profound, detoxification and rejuvenation therapy. It's recommended for almost everyone once a year, particularly if you suffer from chronic conditions (like arthritis, chronic pain, or digestive issues), chronic stress, or generally feel sluggish. It is always prescribed by our physician based on your needs.

The minimum recommended duration for a full Panchakarma is 7 days , but for significant relief from chronic issues, 14 or 21 days is highly recommended . Single treatments (like Abhyangam or Shirodhara) typically last 60 to 90 minutes. Our doctor will finalize the exact duration during your initial consultation.

For most treatments, we provide disposable undergarments. We recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting herbal oil on (especially for treatments involving external applications like Pizhichil or Abhyangam). Bring any relevant medical reports or prescriptions for your initial consultation.

Yes, a consultation is mandatory. At Navajeevana, all treatments, especially Panchakarma, are highly personalized. Dr. Anoop S Nair must perform a consultation, including Nadi Pariksha (pulse diagnosis), to determine your unique Dosha imbalance (Vikruti) before prescribing the correct therapies and herbal medicines.

We exclusively use classical, authentic Ayurvedic preparations sourced from reputed and certified Kerala pharmacies or prepared internally under strict quality control. This commitment to purity is essential for the efficacy of the treatments we provide.
